This policy explains how LochView Boarding Kennels & Daycare ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you visit this website. We like to keep things simple: there are no forms, accounts, or online payments on this website itself. Online bookings are handled by DoggieDashboard, a separate booking service that opens in a new tab — any details you enter there are covered by DoggieDashboard's own privacy policy.

What we collect

• We do not ask you to submit any personal information through this website.
• Like almost all websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically records limited technical data such as IP addresses in server logs, to keep the site secure and running.
• We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first measurement service, to see anonymous, aggregated statistics such as page views. It sets no cookies, stores no personal information, and does not track you across other websites.
• If you choose to load our embedded Google Map, Google may set cookies and process your IP address in line with Google's own privacy policy. The map does not load unless you agree.

Cookies

Our own website sets no cookies. The only cookies that may be set come from the embedded Google Map — and only if you choose to load it, after being asked. You can decline and still use the entire website; we provide a link to open the map in Google Maps instead. Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage so we don't ask again.

Why we process this data (legal bases)

• Server logs: our legitimate interest in operating and protecting the website.
• Analytics: our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used, measured anonymously and without cookies.
• Google Map: your consent, which you can give or withhold.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or share your information. Limited technical processing is carried out by our hosting provider (Cloudflare, which also provides our cookie-free analytics) and, only with your consent, by Google (for the embedded map). If you book online, you provide your details directly to DoggieDashboard under their own privacy policy.

Under UK data protection law you have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection.
